| Bio: | Character Information Name: Bran Nash Nickname: Flakes, The Pan Age: 92, looks in his 30s Birthplace: Wales Sex: Male Occupation: Personal Assistant Appearance: In human form Bran stands at 5'6 and is quite slim with a little muscle definition. He is rather handsome with a mostly round face and strong jaw, and the cutest smile! That he uses very well when flirting to get things and he has soft blue eyes. He has short black hair, an inch or two in length that is quite fluffy left to do it's own thing. It's usually styles in a controlled mess. It also has a white stripe just to the left of centre that runs all the way through his hair. Though is styled correctly it can be hidden, but Bran likes it. He likes to wear designer clothes which a usually tight fitting. He also likes random bursts of colour. Like when working he will wear charcoal trousers, waistcoat and tie then a raspberry coloured shirt... he also minces quite well, so most would be forgiven for thinking he's gay. In his animal form he is your typical skunk, small, black with a white stripe down either side of his back and a big fluffy black and white tail. Oh yeah and lots of teeth and claws! In his war form Bran stands just over 5 feet in height and is more muscular than in his human form. His body is covered in short soft fur that still has the markings of a skunk. His face his still quite human but he does have very sharp nasty teeth, and long claws. He doesn't have a tail but can still spray, which is quite disgusting. Personality: Bran is quite a bouncy sort of person, there is always something to do or something to see so he spends a lot of time running around getting things done. This actually makes him a very good PA, well that and he will flirt with absolutely anyone! He can also be quite camp, which is very cute. He doesn't like to get bored and if he's not scurrying around for any certain reason, like work, they you can be sure he's up to something mischievous! He loves pranks, and flirting and anything slightly naughty, oh and clubbing! With glow sticks! If his sister if with him, it all gets worse, as they bounce off of each other to intensify the hyper, need to be doing something! Even after ninety two years they are very close, and have that twin telepathy things going on which is just heightened due to them being weres. Even after all this time he is still quite happy to share a house with her and would be sad if she moved away, he loves his Alice! Even if they do fight about pretty people they like sometimes. He doesn't like predators, he knows as a small animal he's pretty good at protecting himself, but that doesn't mean that they wont try to eat him when he's not looking! Bran is sometimes called 'The Pan' because most people would think he was old enough to know better and not act the way he does. He knows enough to know what is dangerous and what isn't but as for everything else? Why would he want to grow up? He just has too much fun to be old and boring! There is one time when Bran is not a complete ball of energy. Winter. He doesn't hibernate but he does have the urge to, so getting up on a morning is hard and he doesn't have the same level of insane energy as during the summer, but living in a modern human world doesn't allow time for hibernating, so he doesn't. Bran can really move, he lies raves because they're so energetic! he actually looks like he's on drugs or something while dancing, but no that's just his natural energy levels. He is very creative, which sometimes he uses for makign pretty things, or painting body art on himself and his sister when they go out clubbing, or it's used badly for pranks and mischief, that he says is a good thing! Not everyone would agree... He is something of a jack of all trades, after living for almost a century he's seen a lot and done a lot so there are a lot of things he is good at, so if you need anything doing just ask! History: Bran and his twin sister Alice were born in 1916, they already had an older brother and a few years later a baby sister. The family wasn't terribly well off money wise so the twins shared a room, they often shared a bed and snuggled up for comfort. Until they started school they couldn't resist the need to hibernate in the winter so spent it curled it together sleeping. Even when they did start school they were always falling asleep during the winter, and it took a lot of years to break the habit. They still struggle at that time of year to fight to urge to hibernate. But in a modern world, they can't just disappear for months. The twins grew up in a small Welsh village that was very close knit. Their parents were very happy and loving and their grandparents lived two streets over, they didn't have much but what they did have they all shared and didn't miss the things they didn't have. They spent a lot of time outside, playing pranks, and were often in trouble. Though the people in the village usually took it all in good fun, and they only occasionally got in a lot of trouble. They did do more damage and play more pranks than anyone realised, skunks can get away with all sorts! No one linked the trouble with the full moon though because they went out in their animal forms often, people who saw them sometimes left food for them too! Apart from that they lived a normal quiet life. At fifteen Bran finished school and got a job on a sheep farm just outside the village. He worked long hours for little money sheering, herding, feeding and general care of the sheep. But it was another income into the household so his minimal wage helped, quite a lot actually, especially since his older brother was working at this time also. It was always nice to come home late after dark after leaving before dawn to a hot meal and a clean house, all done my his mother and Alice. It was a good life. Though he never really had time for girls or anything like that. Life carried on like that for almost a decade. In 1939 when the twins were twenty-three war broke out. It was huge and Bran willingly signed up to the army, he was proud of his family, his country and wanted to protect them. His brother also signed up, but his father stayed home to keep working. Alice went to be a nurse for the injured soldiers. It was about this time when Bran found he had attraction to the other soldiers, young and old alike, as well as the nurses. He didn't know there was such a thing as bisexuality, but he thought approaching other soldiers would be inappropriate, they were at war after all and such acts were not exactly celebrated. It wasn't long before the young private caught the attention of his superiors. He was on the front lines and always ran into battled with abandon and no fear. Of course he wouldn't, a normal bullet wouldn't kill him, sure it hurt, but he healed quick. He did spend a lot of nights patching up his uniform, he learnt to sew very well and very quickly. He also pulled a lot of his comrades off the field when they were injured, he saved a lot of lives. He was once even shoved one of his friends to the ground when he almost stepped on a mine. Because of his bravery and commitment he climbed ranks quickly and soon became a captain. He could have gone higher but he wanted to stay on the front lines and fight. During the years of the war full moon was very difficult, he had to hold off on the change until he could sneak off. Though when it got really bad people thought he was ill so did get out of it that way. It was also the loneliest time of his life, he was away from his family and beloved sister for years, they did write to each other but it wasn't the same. It is the only time in his life he's been away from her for more than a day or two, and he doesn't like it. Eventually the war was won and Bran and Alice were sent home. There were a lot of tears and hugs and just spending time as a family for quite a while. Bran attended parades for the war heroes, matching in his uniform. He was made a decorated solider and had lots of shiny medals. He still has them and all his uniforms, he takes them everywhere, he is proud of that time of his life, even if it wasn't the most fun. After the war he decided he didn't want to be a sheep farmer any more. He soon got a job as a coal miner, it was still long hours but slightly better pay and he was getting a pension from the army too, he came home filthy but he enjoyed it, and the men he worked with were good people. He did this job for a few years before disaster changed everything. He was working deep in the mine, ahead of the rest of the crew when the shaft collapsed burying him and the rest of the men. When he came too he found he was hurt, he was covered in cuts and scrapes and had a nasty gash on his head. He was also trapped in a pretty tight space, he could see one way out though it was far too small for him to get through. A skunk would fit though. So he changed into his animal form, his injuries healing while like that then scurried through the gap in the rocks towards the groaning of the other men. He didn't stop though while in that form he found a way out, a way large enough that with just a little work he could get the men out. He changed back into his human form and one by one carried or dragged the men out. They were too injured and out of it to ask why he was naked and unhurt. Everything was fine for a few days, the mine was shut down and one of the men unfortunately died. Then the rest started asking questions, why was Bran not in the hospital? Why was he totally unharmed, why had he been naked? They also seemed to notice that he didn't age like everyone else, but didn't make the leap to the rest of the family. They started asking other people and word spread, people thought Bran was, unnatural, that there was something wrong with him. Even while trying to keep a low profile they still came for him. Hurling abuse at him, shouting outside the house, ignoring his family. He had been a village hero and should have been again, but instead they thought he was some kind of monster. The people who did talk to his family pitied them and their embarrassment of their son. Of course they were still proud of him and stood by him. After a few weeks Bran decided enough was enough, he decided to leave and give his family back the peace they deserved. He didn't like the idea, he would be lonely and without his sister would never feel right again. But it was what was best. As he was packing though Alice started packing too, she wasn't going to let him run off by himself, she didn't want to be without him either, where he went she would follow. They moved to Kent in England, got their own flat and both got jobs pretty quickly. Bran got a job in a clothing factory and started a new life, for once not working from before dawn til after dark, so he could actually have a social life! He dated a little, but nothing serious, he has in fact never had a serious relationship, or really a proper relationship. he doesn't want to be tied down, too much fun to be had! He was still scared to explore his attraction to men, he did try once and almost got beaten to a pulp, he only escaped because he's fast! He led a quite life with his sister, well sort of, they still had lots of fun and mischief as skunks. They stayed in Kent until 1961 when they moved to London, they found it best not to stay in one place too long or their aging may be noticed. Plus they had heard it was a strange new world there! They found that was right, the hippies were taking over. They loved the way the world was changing. Bran got a part time job as an office junior, coffee boy really, and a part time job as a bar tender and got to see the swinging 60s first hand. He started going out a lot, to parties, with hippies, and finally really started exploring his sexual side, multiple partners often and certainly a new person every night. He found he was a great flirt and really enjoyed all this free love. He and his sister even hosted sex parties at their home, it was a great time. It was largely the sixties that shaped the way that Bran acts today, they were fun years. By the mid seventies it was time to move on again, they decided to move to America, Kentucky to start with. Bran became a construction worker, though found his constant flirting wasn't as welcome here, Alice found the same thing. So after a few years they moved again. They've been to Florida, Iowa, then a brief time in Canada. Bran did a variety of different jobs, plumber, electrician, security guard, retail merchandiser, and theatre worker. He enjoyed all of these for a time, then when he got board he moved on to something new. He still spent a lot of time hanging out with his sister, and they still lived together, he also spent a lot of time partying and sleeping around. In the mid Nineties they moved to New Jersey where Bran took a job in a call centre selling office equipment. Because of his ability to talk his way into anything he really excelled at this, so much so the boss noticed and gave him a chance to work as his PA. He was even better at that! And he enjoyed it more than any job he'd ever had, he could talk, flirt and organise stuff and there was always something new to do! He also found a love for raves, with glow sticks! He can pain stuff on him and dance the night away to really hyper active music, it's great! At the turn of the Millennium the twins moved to New York for Alice's work and study, and Bran's old boss gave him a contact to try, so for the first time when they moved he kept with the same job. He was quickly snapped up and actually made a name for himself as a damn good PA! They've been in New York for almost eight years now, doing very well in their jobs, plus having lots of fun with new experiences, new hobbies and lots of sex. But now Bran has been head hunted by the infamous Morgan Thomaston, she wants him as her PA, because word has spread that he is that good. So they are up rooting again and moving to Mysteria, it's been many many years since they've lived in a small town, they are looking forward to all the woodland and pretty places, but maybe they'll have to tone down their partying! that would be terrible, and how long before they get through the entire available population of a small town, they may have to go further for sexual fun, that just doesn't seem right. But still, new place, new pranks! Who knows what life will hold in a new place! So Bran is excited and a little nervous too.
